Purchase plans and production programs are calculated for all production steps, respecting due dates, maximizing bottleneck throughput and minimizing total factory WIP. These plans can be calculated respecting lot allocation and tracking.
• Scheduling: synchronizes production steps across all manufacturing processes including transportation. We sequence production steps respecting due dates, minimizing set-ups and WIP, and maximizing throughput. A feedback of actual production is incorporated to update the schedule at all times.
• Order Management: allocates orders to forecasts/reservations and generates reliable promise dates in a mixed make-to-order and make-to-stock environment. Promise dates are calculated based on capacity availability and current and future material lot availability.
